Terms of Service for Badger
Last Updated: October 12, 2026
1. Acceptance
By using Badger, an app published by Nathan de Castro ("we", "us"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. The service
Badger lets you create a digital business card, share it by QR code, contact file or NFC tag, keep the cards you receive and, optionally, sync them to an account. The app is free.
3. Your account
An account is only needed for cloud sync. Keep your password private: you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at contact@coldsnap.fr if you think someone else has used it.
4. Your content
- Only put information on your card that you have the right to share, and only use photos you own or may use.
- Do not use Badger to impersonate someone, to send spam or to collect people's details without their agreement.
- Contacts you receive belong to the people who shared them. Use them in line with applicable privacy laws.
You keep all rights to your content. We only use it to run the app.
5. Availability
We work to keep Badger running well, but we provide it "as is", without guarantee that it will always be available or error-free. NFC sharing depends on your phone and the tags you use. Keep your own copy of important contacts, for example in your phone's contacts.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for loss of data arising from the use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
7. Ending your use
You can stop using Badger and delete your account at any time (see Delete Account). We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
8. Privacy
How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes and applicable law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by French law.
